In this role, Currie will lead strategic engagement with scrap recycling operators across the region, focusing on high‑volume businesses seeking purpose‑engineered material handling solutions. Currie brings decades of experience in the scrap recycling industry to Fuchs, most recently holding a senior leadership role at Exodus Global. During his tenure, he played a key role in guiding the company’s commercial expansion and strategic evolution, overseeing a period marked by modernization, increased market penetration and operational development.
At Fuchs North
America, Currie will focus on strengthening and demonstrating the Fuchs value proposition, underpinned by productivity, durability and long‑term total cost of ownership advantages. He will work closely with national recycling groups to support fleet strategies among operators requiring robust, application‑specific material handlers. “We are pleased to welcome Richard to Fuchs North America,” says Todd Goss, general manager at Terex Louisville. “He brings a deep understanding of how large recycling operations work and what they require from equipment manufacturers, the operational realities our customers face and how our machines can deliver value over the long term.” Fuchs material handlers for the North American market are designed and manufactured in Bad Schönborn, Germany. Currie will be based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and will work closely with the Fuchs North America team and the engineering and manufacturing teams in Germany to support key account customers and drive continued growth across the region.
