Tecnimont is looking for a Material Selection, Corrosion & Painting Process Specialist to join Process Department

Material, Corrosion & Painting Process Specialist works on Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) Projects (mainly in oil & gas, petrochemicals, fertilizer processing industries and powers plants).

He/She has to follow safety and cost-effectiveness criteria, Contractual requirements, International Codes and Standards.

corrosion rate evaluation or calculation as per literature data and / or corrosion software definition of requirements (chemical composition restriction, heat treatment conditions and/or corrosion testing, installation of insulation kit, etc.) review of laboratory corrosion testing procedures

- PROTECTIVE COATING / LINING (atmospheric corrosion, internal lining, buried and submerged surfaces) including hot dip galvanizing, thermal spray coating, etc. coating pre-job meeting at application workshops / site audit at laboratories for accelerated corrosion tests;

spot inspections during and after application;

- installation place of probes and coupon;

RISK BASED INSPECTION requires the following:

ability to manage the third party and contractual requirements in order to prepare all the deliverables requested such as: inspection plan (CML), corrosion loops marked up, etc.;





- CHEMICAL CLEANING in order to meet proper process requirement;
- ASSISTANCE, providing support during design phases, construction and commissioning in the operating center and/or at site based on the project needs.

Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, Material Science or similar technical field;

~ fluent in English;

~ 3 ÷ 5 years of experience is a preferred requirement.

Contract Type and Classification

Contract type: Permanent The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be € 42.920,92.
