ABOUT THE ROLE – Project Contract Administrator For an important international Oil & Gas project, we are looking for an experienced Project Contract Administrator to support the contractual management of large-scale EPC/EPCIC projects throughout the execution phase.

Reporting directly to the Project General Manager / Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, monitoring and governance of all project-related contracts, ensuring contractual compliance, effective change management and claims prevention while acting as the key interface between the project team, contractors, legal, procurement and the client.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Administration

Administer and monitor EPC, EPCIC, consultancy and service contracts throughout the project life cycle. Ensure contractors comply with contractual obligations, milestones and deliverables.

Maintain complete contract files, registers and contractual correspondence.

Review and validate contractual notices, variation orders and change requests.

Monitor contractual compliance and identify potential contractual risks.

Change Management

Evaluate contractor change requests, including schedule and cost impacts, in coordination with Project Controls, Engineering and Planning teams.

Prepare and manage Change Orders in accordance with project governance procedures.

Maintain the project Change Register and monitor the impact of variations on project execution.

Identify, assess and mitigate potential contractor claims.

Support the negotiation and resolution of contractual claims and disputes together with Legal and Commercial teams.





Prepare contractual documentation supporting claims defense and maintain complete claims records.

Draft, review and issue contractual letters, notifications and formal communications.

Ensure timely responses to contractor correspondence in accordance with contractual requirements.

Support Project Management in managing all contractual communications with clients and contractors.

Reporting

Prepare periodic reports covering contract status, change orders, claims, contractual risks, key contractual issues.

Contribute to monthly project progress reports.

Monitor and report contractual performance KPIs.

Coordination & Compliance

Collaborate with Procurement, Project Controls, Cost Control, Planning and Legal departments to ensure contractual consistency.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies, contractual procedures and project-specific requirements.

Provide contractual guidance to project stakeholders.

Support internal and external audits and ensure proper archiving of contractual documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in

Law;

Quantity Surveying;

Business Administration;

or a related discipline.

7–12 years of experience in Contract Administration within the Oil & Gas industry.

Proven experience on large-scale EPC/EPCIC projects.

Strong knowledge of

FIDIC Contracts;

Bespoke EPC Contracts;

Good understanding of Project Controls, including:

Cost Control;

Planning;

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Contract Management software.

Excellent communication,

Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex project environments.

Compensation The gross annual salary (RAL) for this position ranges from €40,000 to €80,000 , depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

The final compensation package will be determined based on technical expertise, relevant professional experience, level of autonomy in managing project activities, and the outcome of the selection process, following objective, transparent, and merit-based criteria.

For candidates with exceptional qualifications or highly specialized expertise that significantly exceed the role requirements, an enhanced compensation package may be considered, subject to internal approval.
