You’ll be in good company among our global community of experts leading the future of mainframe modernization. Experts who share knowledge openly and collaborate freely. /p /brpIn this role, you’ll design, build and maintain the high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe. At the same time you’ll play a key role in refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile applications to seamlessly interact with the mainframe’s core data. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliDeveloping and testing Java microservices based on predefined architectural and functional specifications; /li /brliImplementing business logic for complex, highly reliable transactional processes; /li /brliContributing to the development of orchestration, integration, and data synchronization services; /li /brliImplementing REST APIs documented using the OpenAPI 3.0 specification; /li /brliWriting automated unit and integration tests, while contributing to the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase; /li /brliSupporting debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities; /li /brliCollaborating with the team on observability, structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing initiatives; /li /brliDeveloping highly reliable services for transactional processes with stringent scalability and resilience requirements.



/li /br /ul /brh3Who You Are /h3 /brh3Technical Skills - Mandatory Skills and Qualifications /h3 /brpThe candidate must possess the following mandatory skills and qualifications: /p /brul /brli5+ years of experience /li /brliProficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.x; /li /brliExperience in designing and implementing applications based on the microservices architectural pattern; /li /brliStrong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis; /li /brliFamiliarity with Apache Kafka or equivalent messaging systems; /li /brliAbility to develop and consume RESTful APIs; /li /brliKnowledge of OpenAPI 3.0 and Swagger specifications; /li /brliExperience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift; /li /brliSolid experience in automated testing using JUnit 5; /li /brliExperience with static code analysis tools to ensure code quality and security; /li /brliBasic knowledge of structured logging, monitoring, and observability practices. /li /brliAbility to independently manage technical tasks, from requirements analysis through implementation; /li /brliProven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with architects, business analysts, and testers; /li /brliStrong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and adherence to project and security standards; /li /brliGood technical documentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. /li /br /ul /brh3The following skills and experience will be considered a plus /h3 /brul /brliExperience in mainframe-to-cloud migration projects or legacy system modernization initiatives; /li /brliExperience in developing with Python; /li /brliKnowledge of Spring Cloud Gateway, Resilience4j, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry; /li /brliFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins); /li /brliExperience with data integration and synchronization solutions in hybrid cloud/mainframe environments. /li /brliExperience working in environments with stringent security, audit trail, and traceability requirements; /li /brliKnowledge of architectural and migration patterns such as Strangler Fig, Dual Run, rollback strategies,
