Simulation Engineer GammaTech Engineering (GTE) is looking for a Simulation Engineer with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us.
You would join our 1D System-Level Simulation team, a group with nearly 20 years of experience in developing solutions for multi-physics system applications. In this role, you would contribute to consulting projects for major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers in the transportation industry.
What You Will Do
Model and simulate innovative powertrain and energy systems using GT-SUITE from conventional internal combustion engines to battery electric configurations.
Develop and adapt innovative CAE methodologies to meet customer requirements, devising alternative design solutions for complex problems.
Analyze simulation results and provide expertise on the observed physical phenomena.
Document technical findings and workflows by creating high-quality reports, procedures, and training materials.
Interact with colleagues on multi-disciplinary projects to achieve comprehensive solutions.




Collaborate closely with customers, fostering positive and cooperative relationships.
What You Will Bring
MSc or PhD in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Strong theoretical background and interest in powertrain technologies.
Hands‐on experience with GT-SUITE (or other similar multi-physics system simulation tools) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and proven Python experience are a plus.
Fluency in both Italian and English, with strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
