The hotel will feature 108 elegantly designed rooms and suites - many with private terraces or gardens - crafted by renowned designers Gilles Boissier. With six distinctive restaurants and bars, including a rooftop Mandarin Bar with sweeping city views, the property will blend tranquil residential charm with contemporary Roman sophistication. /p h3About The Job /h3 pBased at Mandarin Oriental Rome, as the Director of Revenue Strategy, you will lead the overall revenue management strategy of the property, ensuring maximum profitability across all revenue streams. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing Commerce and the senior leadership team to develop, execute, and continuously refine pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies that align with the hotel's business objectives. /p h3As Director of Revenue Strategy, you will be responsible for the following duties: /h3 ul liLead the preparation and strategic interpretation of daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports, including market segmentation analysis, production trends, source contribution, pick-up, and forecast reports. /li liDevelop and implement pricing and distribution strategies based on market demand, competitor intelligence (including STR, OTA Insight, Demand360, and Agency360), and internal business trends. /li liEnsure accurate rate loading and inventory management across all distribution channels, in alignment with the hotel’s business goals.
/li liConduct regular audits and maintain system accuracy across PMS, CRS, RMS, and Sales Catering systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency. /li liChair and lead weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings, presenting forward-looking analysis, insights, and recommendations to the Executive Committee and other key stakeholders. /li liCollaborate with Sales, Marketing, and E-Commerce to align demand generation efforts with inventory and pricing strategies. /li liSupport group business strategy by maintaining group pick-up reports, managing cut-off dates, and ensuring optimal displacement analysis for group inquiries. /li liSubmit daily and monthly actuals to STR and ensure all benchmarking reports are accurate and actioned. /li liAnalyze the impact of local events, holidays, and business trends to refine forecasts and pricing recommendations. /li liOversee the preparation of the 10-Day Forecast to support operational planning and staffing decisions. /li liGuide and develop the revenue team and ensure cross-departmental communication and alignment on strategy execution. /li liEnsure Delphi and PMS data alignment through monthly group audit checks and regular updates in MARs. /li liConduct quality control activities, including test calls to CRO and hotel reservations, to ensure proper selling strategies and messaging. /li liDrive the hotel’s Ecommerce strategy in partnership with the regional and corporate digital teams, ensuring monthly tasks and reporting are completed. /li liMonitor and enhance the performance of special offers, packages, and promotional rates in the market. /li liLead the development of short- and long-term financial forecasts and budgets, aligning revenue initiatives with the hotel's business plan. /li liAct as the strategic point of contact for revenue management in the absence of the Regional Director of Revenue Management. /li liPerform any additional duties as required by hotel or regional leadership. /li /ul h3Experience And Education /h3 h3As Director of Revenue Strategy, we expect from you:
