In this role you drive the plant's food technology governance to ensure Barilla quality and robust line capabilities. You work with product, packaging, process development and industrialization teams to support trials, launch new products and technologies, and improve process stability. You will develop the plant’s technical know‑how and train personnel while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. A key focus is delivering reliable packaging and process performance, aligned with category experts and quality governance, at scale in Foggia.

- Define and improve the plant's technology and process standards in coordination with cross-functional teams
- Identify opportunities to raise product quality through process standard evolution
- Monitor packaging line performance, deviations and implement corrective actions
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and process capability
- Provide technical support for industrial trials of new products, technologies, raw materials, and growth initiatives (including DTV and PCM)
- Prepare, execute and document industrial trials with collaboration across Product Development, Packaging Development, Process Development and Industrialization
- Monitor process parameters, perform diagnostics and root-cause analyses, and propose corrective actions
- Escalate significant deviations to Plant Quality and contribute to recovery plans




- Contribute to CAPA plans with Quality, Industrialization and Packaging Development
- Check production processes with technical instruments and ensure accuracy of specifications
- Manage molds, dies and tooling and support line restarts after maintenance
- Support a culture of technological excellence and training through leadership and collaboration in the plant
- Participate in daily leadership activities and decision‑making with other plant functions
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 4 years in technical/technological roles in production or RDQ, with leadership in cross-functional initiatives
- Strong leadership presence and ability to xysqume influence stakeholders
- Proven track record delivering results in fast-paced environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive structured project execution
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making capabilities
- Experience in project management and capability development of technical teams
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data-driven process evaluation
- Lean or Six Sigma training/certification is a plus
- Fluency in Italian and English with strong communication across levels
