Engineering Construction Senior Planner

Responsible for managing and executing all planning and reporting activities for projects of any size and complexity in strict coordination with the Project Control Manager. Ensures full compliance with the contract, the company’s quality requirements, the Project Execution Plan, WBS, schedules, and other control tools.

Home Office Responsibilities

- Provide guidelines to the planning team for the implementation and initialization of project control tools.
- Prepare the full set of planning procedures (WBS, schedules, progress measurement system, etc.) in compliance with contract requirements and company standards.
- Develop planning documents (Execution Plan, Milestones Plan, 90‑day Schedule, Top‑Down Schedule, Project Control Schedule, detailed Schedule, Progress Curves, reporting, manpower histograms).
- Lead project workshops focusing on planning topics such as WBS/PBS workshops, interactive planning sessions, and schedule risk analysis sessions.
- Define planning reports, outputs, and presentations, ensuring consistency and reviewing them before sharing with the project team and/or client.
- Lead and review the development of the Baseline Planning Package, including Schedule Narrative/Basis of Assumptions tracking and deviation analysis.
- Monitor planning activities, identify deviations, detect criticalities, and propose corrective actions to project management.
- Monitor man‑hour expenditure and productivity trends.
- Organize and participate in periodic meetings across disciplines to review feasibility curves, procurement, and material deliveries.




- Verify contractual schedules and milestones with subcontractors.
- Execute schedule risk analysis and support the project team in identifying potential schedule delays and their impacts.
- Assist the Cost Control Team with invoicing backup documentation and cost/revenue look‑ahead projections.
- Assist the Procurement/Post‑Order Team in analyzing material delivery times before and after purchase order placement.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids for compliance with schedule and planning requirements.
- Lead the site planning team until full mobilization is achieved.
- Collect all planning data and information at project completion for database development and the Project Close‑out report.

Site Responsibilities
- Lead project planning activities in accordance with company procedures and in coordination with the PCM.
- Develop subcontractor contract level 3 & 4 schedules, progress curves, and manpower histograms.
- Verify the feasibility of construction schedules against documented deliveries and updated information from Home Office.
- Monitor subcontractor performance in terms of efficiency, progress, and resource use.




- Collaborate with the material controller to support construction feasibility and material control.
- Collect all data and information at project completion for database development and the Project Close‑out report.
- Manage planning activities even in the absence of the PCM.

- Contract at 1st level CCNL Commercio with a base salary of €36,000‑50,000, subject to final determination based on experience.
