In this role you will shape Cisco and Splunk’s national security footprint across the EMEA region. You’ll blend market development, ecosystem leadership, and executive relationship-building to win complex opportunities in sovereign environments. You’ll translate technology capabilities into operational outcomes for national security customers and coordinate multi-portfolio deals with cross-functional teams. This position offers a strategic chance to influence go-to-market in a regulated sector and expand sovereign-ready solutions.
- Develop and execute the EMEA National Security GTM strategy across Cisco and Splunk offerings
- Identify sovereign requirements and mission‑critical customer needs while spotting market trends
- Align regional sales and specialist teams for consistent execution and market penetration
- Build and activate an informal proxy network of cleared account managers and SI partners
- Enable ecosystem partners to support business development and delivery
- Coordinate complex Cisco and Splunk opportunities, including joint tenders and strategic pursuits
- Advise customers on cybersecurity, digital transformation, observability, and secure infrastructure
- Translate technology capabilities into operational outcomes for national security organisations
- Develop trusted relationships with senior government, intelligence, defence, and partner stakeholders
- Bridge customer requirements with internal product, engineering, and specialist teams
- Grow the national security pipeline and activation of the proxy network
- Increase win rates on strategic Cisco and Splunk opportunities
- Foster executive‑level engagement across key National Security accounts
- Expand sovereign‑ready solution adoption within the sector
- 8+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, defence, government affairs, or related roles
- Deep understanding of National Security markets across EMEA
- Experience working with cleared partners and restricted environments
- Proven success developing go‑to‑market strategies
- Strong executive communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills
- High integrity, judgement, and discretion with sensitive information
- Willingness to travel regularly across EMEA
- Prepared to undertake high‑level public sector (National Security) background checks
- Must maintain current clearance to fulfil the role
