**Mechanical Designer**:

TXT Group is looking for a Mechanical Designer to be included within the TXT E-Tech company of the group in the Aerospace & Defense division. The resource will be mainly responsible for the design phase of mechanical components for electronic and electromechanical equipment in avionics and defense.
**Technical requirements**:
Knowledge and use of CAD modelling software, preferably Fusion 360;
Familiarity with solid and sheetmetal modelling;
Management of complex assemblies;
Ability to carry out static structural analyses;
Knowledge of the main metal and polymeric materials and design best practices for the main production technologies, such as stamping, bending, CNC;




Knowledge of polymers and their adoption in major additive manufacturing technologies as well as design best practices for FDM and SLA;
Ability to identify appropriate small parts for the development of complex designs;
Drafting of technical tables and supporting material for the production of mechanical parts;
Ability to draft and manage extensive Bills of Material, with production and purchasing components;
Ability to manage project resources (timing, budget);
Ability to assess project priorities and adjust requirements in relation to these;
Problem solving and ability to work in teams, with collaboration between similar figures and interface with technical figures such as Electronic Hardware Designer, suppliers of small parts, component manufacturers;
Ability to summarise project status documents;
Aptitude for critical listening and active management of project requests;
Good knowledge of the English language.
**Optional technical requirements**:
Previous experience in preparing CAD (slicing) for 3D Printing (FDM - SLA);
Ability to carry out thermal analysis (dissipation);
Good graphic representation skills (sketching).
The profile is completed by the ability to work in a team, organization, planning and autonomy in work.
**Education**: A diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Industrial Product Design or equivalent is required.
