It designs, manufactures and markets current and next-generation battery technologies used in a wide range of applications, and serves global markets with world-class battery technologies, technical expertise and value-added services under many well-known brands. /p pThe Engineer role develops Sodium Ion battery systems for low voltage automotive applications by defining pack architecture, integrating BMS functionality, and validating system performance, in response to OEM product RFQs and technical expectations. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDefine battery pack configuration, electrical design, mechanical constraints, thermal requirements, and safety concepts for Sodium Ion LV and CV battery systems. /li liCollaborate with BMS suppliers to define key functional requirements (SOC/SOH algorithms, balancing strategy, protection logic). /li liPlan, execute, and analyze pack-level electrical tests; collaborate with external labs for safety tests. /li liCreate battery system specifications, interface documents, DFMEA inputs, validation plans, and technical reports. /li liInterface with suppliers to align designs with technical and manufacturing requirements. /li liParticipate in OEM technical discussions and support system integration topics.
/li liCoordinate closely with Cell Engineering for synergy between cell behavior and pack control strategies. /li liProvide technical training to internal stakeholders. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul li5–10 years of experience in battery system development, BMS engineering, automotive LV/CV focused on HEV/EV systems. /li liExperience with lithium-ion or sodium-ion battery packs and automotive electronics. /li liMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Energy Engineering, or related field. /li liExpert use of Microsoft Office; preferred knowledge of test bench programming, simulations, and modelling.
