Webuild is looking for a **Guarantees Specialist** for the Guarantees department of the Finance area, based in Milan. The ideal profile has 1-3 years of experience and a basic knowledge of how guarantees and surety bonds work. **Main activities**
- Manage relations with Credit Institutions and Insurances/Brokers in relation to guarantees to be issued for the Parent Company, subsidiaries or orders;
- Manage the different phases of guarantees: issue, extension, possible variation of the guaranteed amount and final release with the relative document management, as well as recording all movements in the management system;
- Provide for the payment of commissions after having verified the necessary components: commission rate applied, guaranteed amount, period. Interface with the reference function for charge-backs of surety charges to the orders;
- Prepare periodic reports on:



accruals of commission costs on surety bonds, data processing for balance sheet closures, inventory of surety bonds payable and receivable, financial service fee statements;
- Support contract activities for updating surety commitment situations;
- In the tender phase, study the tender documentation with focus on: estimation of surety costs, request for bank references, issuing of provisional bonds for Italy and abroad. **Requirements**: - Master's degree in Economics and Finance (preferred), Law or related;
- At least 1-3 years' experience in the role or in similar positions;
- Knowledge of budget processes and financial analysis;
- Knowledge of how guarantees and surety bonds work;
- Fluent English. Knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus;
- Good knowledge of the Office package, minimum knowledge of PITECO appreciated;
