Coesia operates in 34 countries with 21 different companies and employs over 8,000 people as of 2026. /ph3About the Role: /h3pWe are looking for a bHW Architecture Engineer / Automotive Motorsport Team Leader /b to lead the definition and development of advanced electronic architectures for automotive and high‑performance motorsport applications. /ppThe role combines btechnical leadership /b, bhands‑on architectural expertise /b, and bteam management /b, contributing to the evolution of cutting‑edge electronic systems from concept to industrialization. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDefine hardware architectures for ECUs and complex electronic systems in automotive and motorsport applications /liliAnalyze system requirements and manage HW/SW functional allocation /liliDefine electronic design guidelines and hardware development best practices /liliTechnically supervise schematic design, PCB layout,
and hardware validation activities /liliCoordinate the automotive and motorsport hardware area from both a technical and organizational perspective /liliLead, support, and grow the hardware team through planning, mentoring, and technical guidance /liliContribute to technology roadmaps and product innovation initiatives /liliPerform reliability, robustness, safety, and EMC analysis of complex electronic systems /liliCollaborate closely with firmware, embedded software, mechanical, testing, and industrialization teams /liliAct as a technical interface with customers, suppliers, technology partners, and production /liliSupport DFMEA activities, validation, and industrialization phases /liliSupervise prototyping, advanced testing, and debugging activities /liliContribute to the definition and continuous improvement of automotive hardware development processes and methodologies /li /ulh3What You Need to Be Successful: /h3ulliMaster’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent /liliMinimum b5–8 years of experience /b in hardware development and architecture of automotive or motorsport electronic boards /liliStrong background in high‑performance and high‑reliability electronic design /liliProven experience in technical leadership of complex projects and coordination of hardware teams /liliStrong leadership, organizational,
and people management skills /liliExcellent knowledge of: /liliAdvanced analog and digital electronics /liliPower supply systems and power management /liliAutomotive embedded architectures /liliCAN FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet communication protocols /liliAutomotive EMC/EMI and system robustness /liliElectronic validation and industrialization processes /liliExperience in design and review of complex multilayer PCBs /liliKnowledge of automotive standards and product development processes /liliProficiency with professional electronic CAD tools /liliExcellent command of the English language /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience in high‑performance motorsport environments /liliKnowledge of bFunctional Safety (ISO 26262) /b /liliExperience with bASPICE /b processes /liliExperience managing EMS suppliers and electronic manufacturing /liliStrong mentoring skills and ability to develop junior and mid‑level engineers /liliExperience in defining technical standards and company‑wide processes /liliProven aptitude for technical leadership in dynamic, fast‑paced, and high‑pressure environments /li /ulh3Our Offer /h3pCompensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 53.600, in line with experience.
