The Process Engineer will ensure project requirements are met throughout the life of customer orders and improvement project. The Process Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager and other members of the Design teams along with the Operations and Manufacturing teams for cross-functional success and customer satisfaction. He/She will attend internal and external (customers, vendors and packagers), manage customer communications, and work with Design Engineering, customers and suppliers on scope via technical discussions. Continuous improvement is a cornerstone of Ingersoll Rand Engineering. An ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of process engineering experience and lead technical conversations with customers and internal teams. The Process Engineering role is highly valued and sought after within the organization; it is the customer satisfier,



a tenured technical touch point and an effective liaison across all parties required to work together throughout complex projects. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupporting engineering functions, e.g., Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering. /li liConduct or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, code, and standards. /li liPerform mental tasks such as prioritizing work to align with business objectives, and exercising good judgment /li liDemonstrate ability to cope with stress, change and pressure - while maintaining a pleasant and cooperative manner. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liCompetency in industrial machinery, general project management, industrial equipment specifications, and documentation workflows. /li liBasic familiarity with the major subsystems. The incumbent may be asked to give assistance in completing a proposal, help troubleshoot problems in the field or communicate a topic involving this content to the customer. /li liExcellent communication skills and the ability to develop working relationships with co-workers, suppliers, and customers are essential. /li liPersonal computer literacy and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential.
