The ideal candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and school leadership to help navigate the complex developmental and social-emotional challenges of adolescence within an international community. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ol li bStudent Support Pastoral Guidance (1-on-1): /b ul lipProvide active listening, emotional guidance, and goal-oriented support for students referred for behavioural, emotional, or academic motivation challenges. /p /li lipConduct initial assessments of student wellbeing and facilitate referrals (external diagnostic or therapeutic support) when specialized clinical care is required. /p /li lipSupport international students and families with transition, cultural adaptation, and social integration. /p /li /ul /li li bClassroom Workshops Prevention Programs: /b ul li pDesign and deliver interactive, age-appropriate workshops (in English) focused on core social-emotional learning (SEL) topics: /p ul lipEmotional regulation, stress management, and exam anxiety. /p /li lipRelationships, consent, and affective education. /p /li lipAnti-bullying, cyberbullying, and digital citizenship. /p /li lipSleep hygiene and digital wellbeing.



/p /li /ul /li /ul /li li bFaculty Inclusion Support (IEP/504 / Bes Support): /b ul lipCollaborate with Head of Years, Homeroom Teachers, and the Learning Support Department. /p /li lipAnalyze and interpret psychological/educational evaluations (e.g., Learning Differences, Neurodivergence, ADHD) to provide actionable, classroom-based strategies for teachers. /p /li lipFacilitate restorative conversations between students to resolve interpersonal conflicts. /p /li /ul /li /ol h3Required Skills/Abilities /h3 h3Candidate Profile Qualifications /h3 ul li bLanguage Proficiency: /b C1/Fluent English (written and spoken) is required. Italian fluency is an advantage for communicating with local families and external services. /li li bBackground Education: /b ul lipDegree in Psychology, Educational Sciences, or Social Pedagogy, combined with a certified qualification/master in bCounseling /b. /p /li lipFormal educational background in bPsychology /b is strongly preferred (for reading clinical reports and decoding complex adolescent behaviour). /p /li lipNote: Membership in the professional clinical registry (Albo degli Psicologi) is not required. /p /li /ul /li li bExperience: /b Proven track record working with adolescents (ages 11-18) in educational, international, or youth-oriented settings. /li li bAdministrative Status: /b Freelance / Self-employed status (Possession of a valid bPartita IVA /b or willingness to register prior to the start date). /li li bSkills: /b Cultural sensitivity, empathy, discretion, strong conflict-resolution skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
