The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electromagnetic design, thermal design, mechanical integration, prototyping, and validation of motors, with a focus on efficiency, cost, noise/vibration, reliability, and manufacturability. The position plays a critical role in advancing electromechanical capabilities, driving integration with electronics and software, and enabling differentiated product performance across global markets. The Motor Technology Specialist will be part of the Global Technology team, contributing to the definition and deployment of core motor technologies across the organization and supporting multiple product lines at a global level. /p h3Motor Design /h3 ul liSupport the development of electric motors solutions for professional products applications (e.g., BLDC, PMSM, induction motors, universal motors depending on product line). /li liPerform motor sizing and selection based on performance requirements (torque, speed, power, efficiency, duty cycle). /li liAnalyze detailed motor designs including stator, rotor, winding, lamination, magnets, insulation, and housing. /li /ul h3Analysis /h3 ul liPerform thermal analysis and cooling design to ensure motor performance under real operating conditions. /li liSupport NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) improvements through design optimization.



/li /ul h3Mechanical Manufacturing Integration /h3 ul liEnsure motor designs meet mechanical constraints for appliance integration (space, mounting, sealing, vibration isolation). /li liWork closely with RD and manufacturing teams to ensure DFM/DFA, cost targets, and production feasibility. /li /ul h3Prototype Testing /h3 ul liBuild and support appliances prototypes and support motor assembly and process development. /li liDefine and execute validation plans including: /li liThermal rise tests /li liDurability and life testing /li liVibration and acoustic testing /li liEnvironmental and reliability tests /li /ul h3Cross-Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liWork with electronics and control teams to ensure motor compatibility with inverter/drive and control algorithms. /li liCollaborate with appliance system teams to ensure performance in real-world appliance cycles. /li liSupport quality teams in root cause analysis and corrective actions for field issues. /li /ul h3Cost, Quality Performance Optimization /h3 ul liEnsure motor solutions meet cost targets without compromising performance or quality /li liLead value engineering and cost optimization initiatives /li liEstablish global standards for quality, reliability, and compliance (e.g., IEC, UL, energy regulations /li /ul h3Documentation Compliance /h3 ul liSupport of engineering documentation: drawings, specifications, BOMs, test reports, and design reviews. /li liEnsure designs meet relevant safety and compliance requirements (e.g., IEC, UL, appliance standards).



/li /ul h3WHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. /li li5+ years of experience in electric motor design (high-volume products preferred). /li liStrong understanding of: /li liWinding design and insulation systems /li liThermal management /li liExperience with motor simulation tools (Maxwell, JMAG, Motor-CAD, etc.). /li liFamiliarity with lab testing and validation of motors. /li liGood knowledge of manufacturing processes for motors (stamping, winding, impregnation, balancing, assembly). /li /ul h3OUR CULTURE IN 4 WORDS /h3 pbBe Customer Obsessed.
