We are the leading Tech Company in Europe, supporting digital innovation for over 45 years.
We are committed to bringing digital technology into every business. How? By putting customers first and becoming the go-to partner for professionals, small, medium and large companies, offering customised solutions and services to optimise business processes, from HR and customer relations to e-invoicing and digital payments.
Alongside organic growth, M&A; is a core strategic lever to accelerate innovation, expand our product portfolio, and strengthen our leadership across markets.
The M&A; Expert plays a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s growth strategy. With end-to-end ownership of M&A; initiatives, this role leads the full transaction lifecycle — from strategic target identification to deal execution and post-merger integration — ensuring each acquisition delivers sustainable industrial and financial value.
Reporting to the M&A; Manager and working closely with senior leadership, the M&A; Expert acts as a strategic partner to the business, combining financial rigor, strategic judgment, and strong stakeholder leadership.
In particular, you will:
- Drive the M&A; roadmap, aligned with corporate strategy and long‑term growth priorities.
- Manage the M&A; process end to end, starting from proactive market scouting and target origination.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize acquisition targets across relevant markets, business models, and technologies.
- Lead strategic, financial, and business assessments, including valuation, industrial fit, synergies, and risk analysis.
- Take full ownership of deal execution, coordinating due diligence across legal, financial, tax, operational, and commercial workstreams.
- Play a key role in negotiations, defining deal structures, terms, and closing conditions.
- Act as the main point of contact for external advisors (investment banks, consultants, law firms) and internal stakeholders at executive level.
- Prepare and present investment cases, decision papers,
and recommendations to top management and governance bodies.
- Define and oversee post‑merger integration strategies, ensuring value realization, operational alignment, and cultural integration.
- Track and report performance of completed transactions versus the original business case.
What skills are we looking for?
- At least 5 years of experience managing the M&A; end-to-end process, within corporate M&A;, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategy consulting environments.
- Proven leadership and ownership in managing complex transactions with autonomy and accountability.
- Strong financial skills, including valuation, financial modeling, and investment analysis.
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to connect individual transactions to broader industrial and corporate strategy.
- Strong cross‑functional influence and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent executive communication skills, with confidence in interacting with senior leaders and external partners.
- Ability to make decisions in fast‑paced, ambiguous, and high‑uncertainty contexts.
- High levels of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Skills are important, but they are not enough. We seek individuals who, thanks to their growth mindset, view every challenge as an opportunity for growth and who embody the soft skills that set us apart, bringing our values to life.
- ENTREPRENEURSHIP - is the engine that drives us to excel, innovate and challenge ourselves for our own success and that of our company. We are proactive, responsible and customer- centric, always ready to question the status quo and achieve extraordinary results.
- INNOVATION - is the guiding light that illuminates our path as we move through an environment full of different experiences, knowledge and perspectives. We are not afraid of making mistakes; we work in an environment that is fertile for the development of innovative solutions.
- INCLUSION - is the sentiment that guides our relationships amongst individuals, each of whom has a different history and experience. We advocate for an inclusive work environment that values each person's unique characteristics.
