Experteer Overview

As Strategic Sourcing Specialist for powertrain, you will develop a competitive supplier base for automotive and energy-related projects. You collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Project Management to drive speed, quality, and risk reduction in sourcing while supporting new business opportunities. You will analyze costs, TCO, and supplier performance to boost competitiveness. The role offers scope to influence procurement across BEV, PHEV, ICE, and battery systems in a sustainability-focused company.

- Support RFQ processes, including supplier selection and benchmarking
- Conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and cost breakdowns

- Develop and maintain supplier dossiers and benchmarking analyses
- Run mini RFIs and organize technical visits to supplier facilities

- Support proposal preparation and contribute to new business acquisition
- Analyze technical drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes
- Ensure alignment with APQP, PPAP, and IATF standards
- Continuously improve supplier competitiveness and sourcing efficiency

Responsabilità
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field
- 3–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier scouting
- Experience in automotive and/or energy sectors
- Strong knowledge of powertrain systems (ICE, BEV, PHEV, FCEV); battery systems (cells, xysqume modules, BMS, cooling)
- Ability to read technical drawings and analyze BOMs
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards (APQP, PPAP, IATF)
- Strong analytical skills (TCO, cost analysis, competitiveness evaluation)
- Excellent negotiation and risk assessment capabilities
- Executive-level communication and synthesis skills
- Proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented mindset
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency in English (good to advanced level)
- Willingness to travel
