As a Packages Engineer in Saipem's ENCAR, you deliver process and utility packages for onshore and offshore projects, supporting the energy transition. You will work under the Head of Mechanical Department, ensuring technical conformance, cost discipline, and timely delivery of packages from vendor engagement to operation readiness. You collaborate across disciplines and with suppliers to drive safe, sustainable, and compliant solutions. This role offers international exposure, travel opportunities, and a chance to shape complex projects in a global leader in energy and infrastructure.
Responsibilities

Prepare technical specifications, test requirements, and material requisitions; create equipment package documents, data sheets, and engineering specs.
Ensure conformance to all codes and deliver packages on schedule and within budget.
Participate in kick‑off, pre‑inspection,



and supplier coordination meetings.
Technical evaluation of vendor quotations and preparation of bid comparisons.
Coordinate multi‑disciplinary activities to deliver packages.
Review vendor documentation with other disciplines and verify related design documents.
Qualifications

Master's/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years as package engineer in international contracting/engineering environment.
English: C1, Italian: C1.
Experience with process packages for process and utilities (e.g., dehydration, desalination, water treatment, gas separation, H2 recovery, refrigeration, N2 production, etc.).
