Main Responsibilities

-

- Analysis of the requirements and technical and functional characteristics of software and devices.

- Design of the test plan to be carried out, covering all test categories: functional, load, system, performance, etc.

- Execution of the tests specified in the plan.

- Identification of errors and malfunctions.

- Documentation of the procedures used.

- Preparation of a report on the results obtained.

- Analysis of field reports and in-house reproduction of problems reported by customers.

- Diagnostics and basic maintenance on test environments.

Technical Skills and Soft Skills

- Software testing, verification and validation skills in embedded and/or client-server environments.

- Knowledge of the software life cycle and main development methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.).

- Ability to write technical IT documentation.

- Basic knowledge of computer science.

- Basic skills in the use of IT tools, preferably Linux (ssh client, SQL query client, network diagnostics tools, system service management and component updating, etc.).

- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (bash or similar) (desiderable).

- Experience in software security testing (SAST/DAST tools, identification of vulnerabilities and exploits on REST APIs, etc.) (desiderable).

- Skills in test automation (desiderable).

- Analytical skills and problem-solving.

- Ability to work in a team.

- Flexibility/adaptability.

- Stress management skills.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field. xysqume

Prerequisites and/or Experience

- Knowledge of the English language.
