The business is part of a major global energy group with a long-standing commitment to driving the energy transition and delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across multiple markets. With a significant pipeline of projects in Southern Italy, they are now strengthening their construction function with the appointment of a Construction Senior Specialist to support the delivery of complex utility-scale energy assets. Role Overview This role sits within the construction delivery team and will be responsible for overseeing key technical and execution elements across large-scale renewable energy projects. You will act as a key interface between contractors, engineering, procurement, and operations, ensuring delivery is aligned with cost, schedule, and quality expectations.



Key Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed technical execution plans and construction specifications Oversee contractor performance and ensure delivery against defined project milestones Monitor and analyse project performance across cost, schedule, and quality metrics Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams throughout project delivery Identify, manage, and escalate technical and operational risks where required Support continuous improvement initiatives across construction delivery processes Requirements Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (advanced qualifications advantageous) Strong background in construction project execution, ideally within energy or infrastructure Solid understanding of construction contracts, technical standards, and project controls Proven ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary and international teams Fluent in Italian and English Experience delivering renewable energy or large-scale power generation projects is highly beneficial Exposure to large utility or complex multinational environments is advantageous
