Technician specializing in automation and control systems who wants
to contribute to the growth of renewable energy and advanced

Submit your application today! Job description: Your primary
responsibility will be to ensure maximum uptime and reliability of
production equipment. You will be the first responder to machine
breakdown and problems occurring within the production. You will
work with different types of machines but will specialize in
Midsummer produced equipment, like the Duo tool. You will handle
different control systems and PLC's when it comes to
troubleshooting, installation and maintenance but mostly Beckhoff.
The service technician with a specialization in control systems and
automation will work closely with engineers and other departments
to implement and test improvements to the production process.
Responsibilities: · Diagnose issues within the production and
provide a plan of action on how to approach the issue. · Respond
rapidly to equipment breakdowns and production stoppages. ·
Troubleshoot different bus communications, like PROFIBUS, EtherCAT
and ASi safety. · Install software, take backups, manage backups
and restore backups for different control systems, in particular
Beckhoff. · Replace faulty equipment such as PLCs/IPCs, computers,
network switches, sensors and actuators. · Connect to different
control systems, PLC’s, smart actuators and sensors to change
settings and make adjustments. · Control and troubleshoot robots
from ABB and Kuka. · Coordinate with external suppliers and
technical support when advanced troubleshooting is required. ·
Installation and commissioning of machines and equipment. ·
Undertake special projects as required. · Collaborate with Process
Engineers to evaluate equipment performance and recommend repairs,
upgrades or replacements. Required Qualifications: · Bachelor's
degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a
related field, or equivalent vocational training and relevant work
experience. · Solid troubleshooting skills in industrial machinery,
PLCs and automation systems. · Professional proficiency in English
(minimum C1 level), both written and spoken. · Understand
engineering and technical information. · Proactive, flexible and
takes responsibility to finish a task. · You can work both
independently and in a group. · Be able to travel to Sweden for
training. Preferred Qualifications: · Experience with Beckhoff PLCs
and TwinCAT. · Knowledge of EtherCAT, ASi Safety and ASIMON. ·
Basic industrial networking and IT troubleshooting skills. We
