Your role and responsibilities
Execute planned maintenance and repair activities on Wärtsilä OEM 4‐stroke engines and their auxiliaries.
Perform overhauls of engine components on site or on board vessels.
Carry out advanced engine troubleshooting to identify root causes of mechanical failures.
Inspect completed work to ensure repairs meet Wärtsilä quality standards.
Check, adjust, and test relevant systems, including auxiliary systems.
Perform commissioning and trial runs of Wärtsilä equipment.
Participate actively in failure investigations and troubleshooting processes.
Prepare accurate and timely service reports, technical documentation, and travel expense reports in line with Wärtsilä requirements.
Identify failures, perform adjustments,



and support testing and trial operations.
Collect, organize, and submit time and expense reports to administrative personnel as required.
Work in full compliance with Wärtsilä guidelines, including Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (QEHS) requirements.
Qualifications
Technical high school diploma in mechanics and/or Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Proven ability to overhaul engine components on site or on board.
Previous experience with planned maintenance and repair of Wärtsilä OEM engines and auxiliaries is a strong advantage.
Solid experience in engine troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and component investigations.
Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
