Role Overview
As a Business Partner TA‑Procurement, you will manage the contractual relationship with suppliers, from signing the contract until product delivery, ensuring technical performance, planning and compliance of delivered products. Located in Rome, you will play a transnational role within the Industry Components and Services segment of Thales Alenia Space Procurement.
Responsibilities
- Manage the supplier relationship throughout the contract, addressing all technical, industrial, planning, quality and contractual questions and negotiating changes regarding specifications, price or schedule evolution.
- Implement actions to detect early risks or technical, quality or programmatic problems that may affect the project schedule or cost,



and mobilize the necessary resources to address them quickly and thoroughly.
- Provide internal customers and central functions with technical and programmatic risk and opportunity assessments, cost and delivery forecasts, using appropriate tools.
- Ensure product compliance verification, managing formal reviews and organizing deliverables acceptance milestones.
- At each formal stage of the contract, ensure completeness of deliverables, obtain approval of the associated data package, and authorize product delivery within the planned criteria (payments, penalties).

Qualifications and Experience
- Significant experience in supplier/customer relationship management.
- Procurement experience in multi‑site, multidisciplinary manufacturing, engineering or technical organizations, with strong technical knowledge of the products.
- Project management, risk management and advanced negotiation skills.
