We are looking for the Head of Logistics for the Motorsport Division at Marelli, who will report directly to the Motorsport President. The successful candidate will manage a leadership team of 12 people, including 3 direct People Managers and 9 Individual Contributors who report to those managers. Location: The role is based at our Corbetta office (Italy, Milan area) – preferred, but can also be based in Bologna (Italy) or Venaria Reale (Italy, Turin area). Responsibilities Design and deploy the logistics strategy, defining the roadmap and action plans. Manage the external logistics process to optimize working capital management, transport solutions, and logistics footprint. Coordinate and oversee internal logistics processes across the three production sites, ensuring effective alignment and collaboration between production and logistics departments. Work closely with internal stakeholders (Planning, Sales Management, Production,
Finance, Purchasing) as well as customers and suppliers to meet or exceed customer needs. Conduct stock analysis, share results with Top Management, suggest corrective actions, and lead scrapping activities. Interact with suppliers for logistics and transportation services in close alignment with Purchasing, escalating criticalities and evaluating recovery plans when needed. Lead the yearly inventory count process (both from a physical and procedural perspective), collaborating with finance, engaging external auditors, analyzing root causes, and defining corrective actions. Govern subcontractor yearly inventory counts. Lead special projects that impact logistics flows, being accountable for the results.
