Overview As the Bushings Sales Manager – Europe you will lead the commercial growth of GEVernova's bushing portfolio for transformers, generators and substation applications across the European market. You will act as the primary commercial lead, building deep relationships with key stakeholders and collaborating with local sales teams to drive new business.
Responsibilities Define market entry strategies and lead the end‐to‐end sales process, from initial specification through contract closure.
Drive growth by deploying strategic market entry plans and meet order‐intake and gross‐margin targets.
Lead the spec‐in and spec‐out process to influence customer specifications and secure product qualification across the region.
Collaborate with tendering teams to develop competitive, value‐added technical and commercial offers.
Manage the internal risk assessment process for commercial, financial and legal viability to ensure successful project delivery.
Build deep relationships with key regional operators, TSOs, DSOs and major EPC contractors for a unified regional approach.
Create and negotiate high‐impact contracts while resolving technical and commercial clarifications to ensure seamless hand‐off to execution teams.
Qualifications Strong ability to present complex technical solutions to diverse stakeholders with clarity and impact.
Capable of planning, documenting and executing large‐scale commercial programmes in a global environment.
Deep understanding of the electrical transmission business, including generator, transformer or substation equipment.
Expertise in navigating tender complexities and resolving contract concerns.
Proven cross‐functional collaboration within a fast‐paced environment.
Formal education and a university degree in Engineering (Electrical or Management preferred) or a related field.
Relevant commercial or sales professional experience and a track record of commercial achievements.
Willingness to travel frequently across the European region.
