YellowSquare is looking for a reliable, professional, and proactive Night Porter - Receptionist (Part-time) for our Milan hostel.
This role is the heartbeat of our nights: you'll be the go-to person for our guests when the sun goes down, balancing administrative precision with a watchful eye on the hostel's safety.
What you'll do:
Dealing with bookings and managing the front desk during the night shift;
Completing smooth Check-in and Check-out procedures;
Preparing bills, taking payments, and ensuring financial accuracy;
Patrol and secure hallways, common areas, and entrances to maintain a safe environment;
Handling guest complaints or technical problems with a problem-solving mindset;
Acting as the first point of contact for any emergencies during the night.
What you'll bring:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (hospitality or front desk);
Excellence in customer service: you know how to make a guest feel at home;




Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced or unexpected situation;
High proficiency in spoken and written English (any other language is a big plus!);
Flexibility with night shifts and working hours;
A true team spirit and the ability to collaborate across departments.
What we offer:
Salary & Contract: CCNL Turismo (Level 3), Tempo parziale (16 hours/week).
The compensation is pro-rated based on a full-time gross annual salary (RAL) of €25,1k;
Contract duration: Initial 3-month fixed-term contract with a view to long-term placement;
