Construction Engineer - Mechanical Specialist
Manager / Team Leader
In this Mechanical Specialist role, you will support the Central Construction team in designing and delivering new manufacturing infrastructure at the Agrate site.
You'll drive basic mechanical design, specifications, and contractor coordination across design, installation, and commissioning phases.
You'll ensure work aligns with time, quality, and budget, while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.
This position offers hands?on project scope in a global, collaborative setting with meaningful impact on production facilities and performance.
Define basic mechanical design for new projects with team leadership
Prepare and validate mechanical discipline specifications and contractor documentation
Ensure contractor installation complies with specifications, safety, and ST standards
Track on?time execution and flag deviations from schedule or specs




Lead weekly meetings with contractors and document minutes
Approve datasheets and contractor docs within due dates
Oversee use of project management tools by contractors
Participate in progress reviews with suppliers and ST team
Collect final documentation for mechanical disciplines
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (minimum)
read and understand mechanical, electrical, and instrumental schematics
experience or knowledge of mechanical systems for microelectronics or pharmaceutical production sites (preferred)
knowledge of Autocad and 3D modelling tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) (preferred)
good analytical, problem solving, synthesis and reporting abilities
good teamwork and communication/documentation skills
proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken)
