PES Group grew out of PES's Engineering Division, founded in 1979, and currently has over 200 permanent engineers on its staff, who have significant experience in the Oil & Gas, Power, Renewable Energy, Chemical, Petrochemical and Automotive sectors.

Our company provides engineering and technical services (civil engineering, rotating machinery, static equipment, processes, HSE design, electrical and instrumentation, layout and pipework), delivering over 200,000 hours of engineering work per year to all the leading companies in the Oil & Gas sector, EPC contractors, industrial manufacturers, etc.

Currently, the PES Group has eight offices in Italy: its head office in Rosignano Solvay (LI), as well as offices in Livorno, San Donato Milanese, Florence, Rome, Bari, Vibo Marina (VV) and Gela.

This will ensure that activities relating to mechanical engineering and equipment packages within the assigned project are carried out efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with the contract specifications, quality standards and safety/environmental requirements.

Job Description: Instrument and Control System Engineer





- Execute instrumentation and automation engineering activities in compliance with project QA/QC and HSE requirements.
- Prepare Material Requisitions (MRs), Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Technical Specifications, Datasheets, Instrument Specification Sheets, MTOs, and BOQs.
- Prepare and evaluate Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs).
- Participate in P&ID; mechanization activities.
- Develop and maintain engineering deliverables, including Instrument Index,
- Cable and Conduit Schedules, Instrument Installation Schedules, Nameplate Lists etc.
- Work with SPI/Intools (Specifications, Wiring, and ILD modules).
- Review client technical documentation and project requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontracted engineering activities and related documentation.
- Establish engineering design bases, philosophies, and guidelines.
- Provide technical support to project, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Optimize instrumentation design to ensure compliance, reliability, cost efficiency, and safety.
- Review and commenting on vendor documents and validate vendor calculations for: Control Valve Sizing, Safety Valve Sizing, Measurement Element Sizing
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities.
- Support instrumentation 3D modeling and design reviews.
- Participate in FATs, vendor workshops, SATs, loop checks, and functional tests.
- Perform site engineering activities during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases

Requisiti

- Offshore experience
- Minimum 10-15 years' experience Oil&Gas;
