The person will join our future Operation Engineering teams within an important Earth Observation satellite mission contract.ResponsibilitiesConduct orbit determination, maneuver planning, and analyze orbital events such as conjunctions.Computation and monitoring of the satellite orbitDefinition of FDS workflowsDevelopment and validation of FDS operational procedures (manual and python-based pipelines)Preparation and participation in System Operations Validation Test CampaignsPreparation of LEOP and Commissioning operationsOn-console activities during LEOP and on-call supportRoutine and emergency flight dynamics operationsPropose improvements to the in-orbit control strategies and support GS Engineering Team for specification and development of flight dynamics facility for future missionsTechnical Skills, Qualifications and Professional ExperienceUniversity degree in a relevant engineering field, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.Relevant working experience in operational mission,



orbit determination and control.Expertise in orbit and attitude dynamics of satellites.Experience in SSA activities and CAM management.Ability to communicate clearly under both nominal and time-critical conditions.At least 3 years of operational experience in FDS operations for LEO satellitesAbility to work independentlyFluency in English, both in speech and writingExpertise in python scriptingExperience with unix/linux OS based systemsAbility to coordinate activities internal and external to the teamWell?organised, able to prioritise and manage several activities in parallelLocation: Roma or Mola di BariWhat do we offer?
