Subsidiary Account Manager - C13 - Milan
As Subsidiary Account Manager, you will manage and grow Citi's relationships with local subsidiaries of multinational clients to deepen wallet share and drive revenue.
You will work with the Global Network Banking team to ensure seamless delivery of Citi's products in-country, leveraging insights to tailor solutions.
You'll lead cross-functional efforts to originate opportunities, manage risk, and mentor junior bankers.
This role blends relationship management, strategic advisory, and execution in a dynamic local market.
Build independent, trusted relationships with key local subsidiary contacts and provide valuable insights
Develop comprehensive account plans aligned to local subsidiary and global parent objectives
Drive in-country wallet growth and top-revenue opportunities with proactive client coverage
Lead with solutions tailored to the local market, coordinating with Product Specialists to deliver banking solutions
Manage local client pipeline and achieve/exceed revenue targets
Mentor junior bankers on client needs and business opportunities




Lead cross-functional teams to deliver multi-product solutions and secure necessary resources
Demonstrate advanced credit acumen and discuss risk-return trade-offs with clients and stakeholders
Align activities with local/global strategies, including campaigns and wallet sizing
Assist in escalations and contribute to local market strategy and product development initiatives
6-10 years of experience in the field
Deep understanding of the local market, economy, and regulatory environment
Strong credit understanding and risk assessment skills
Extensive knowledge of corporate banking products, especially Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) and Markets
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a strategic advisor
Strong planning, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
Bachelor's/University degree;
Master's degree preferred
