/ph3Position /h3pbDesign Engineer – Internal Combustion Engine /b /ppThe Design Engineer – Internal Combustion Engine is responsible for the design and development of mechanical components and systems dedicated to internal combustion engines and powertrain applications, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and performance requirements.
/ppThe role covers the entire product development cycle, from concept phase to production, contributing to the optimization of design solutions in terms of reliability, efficiency, performance, and industrialization.
/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliDevelop 2D/3D models and technical drawings of internal combustion engine components and powertrain systems; /liliDefine technical specifications and project requirements in collaboration with Engineering teams; /liliDesign and optimize engine mechanical components (e.g., structural components, intake/exhaust systems, moving components); /liliPerform basic engineering analyses (sizing, tolerances,



material selection); /liliSupport development activities related to engine performance, reliability, and durability; /liliEnsure product manufacturability in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering; /liliSupport simulation and technical verification activities (FEA, CFD, and thermal analyses where applicable); /liliManage design changes and product configuration; /liliParticipate in internal and external design reviews; /liliSupport prototyping, testing, and product validation activities; /liliContribute to product cost, weight, and performance optimization.
/li /ulh3Requirements /h3pbTechnical: /bbr/ /pulliMechanical, Mechatronic or Vehicle Engineering Degree /liliExperience or knowledge in the design of mechanical components for internal combustion engines or powertrain systems; /liliProficiency in 2D/3D CAD design software (e.g. CREO, CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
/liliKnowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
/liliAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and GDT.
/liliBasic knowledge of structural and/or thermal analysis (FEA is optional but preferred).
/liliKnowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
