DXC Technology is seeking a Data Scientist to support AI and Generative AI projects, contributing to practical solutions and improving business processes through ML models, NLP, and intelligent automation.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and implementation of AI solutions, including machine learning models, NLP, and computer vision applications.
Collaborate with senior team members to understand client requirements and translate them into practical AI solutions.
Assist in presales activities, including preparing technical materials and contributing to client presentations.
Stay up-to-date on AI trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to support solution development.
Participate in small-scale AI solution projects or tasks, gaining hands?on experience in real client environments.
Requirements
2-5 years of experience in Generative AI projects.
Good knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit?learn, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem?solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions, including design and implementation.
Nice to Have
Experience with Agentic AI approaches or platforms.
Previous involvement in presales or solution support tasks.
Location




Milano (Cernusco) with smart?working possibility.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €48,000. Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender?neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience, and skills.
