ppWe are looking for an Electrical Engineer with specific knowledge of electric motor drives and RFC analysis.
/p pIn this role you will be in charge of the system Electrical EMC design and testing activities covering the following tasks: /p ul liAssess and analyze mission System and Operational Requirement Documents, SRD / ORD.
/li liInterface main peers, (i.e., System E2E , Avionics, Payloads..) /li liImplement Electrical and EMC/RFC architectures /li liAssess electrical I/F resources, sizing and budgets /li liAssess RFC issues through modeling and analysis /li liImplement Power architecture in simulation environments /li liAssess energy balance, resources sizing and justification /li liLead and conduct System and S/S Electrical EMC IVVQ /li liSupport AIV across Product Life cycles /li liSupport OPS team for SVTs, FOP, LEOP sims, LEOP and commissioning /li liLead assessment of motor drives interfaces and performances /li liAssess mitigation techniques of the impinging Electric field generated by satellite antennas and equipment basing on dedicated radar absorber materials and assessed through dedicated computational solver (e.g. CST) /li liEMC and RFC satellite architecture definition, sizing and justification /li liConducted and Radiated analysis and circuit analyses /li liESD (internal bulk charging, external surface charging, discharge) analyses /li liMagneto static field analyses /li liRFC and Launch Vehicles compatibility analyses /li liEMC and RFC requirements specification /li liEMC budgeting, frequency and control plan definition /li liEMC corrective actions design (e.g. filtering,
shielding, gasketing) /li liEMC design rules definition for harness /li liEMC testing at equipment level (setup, requirements, validation) /li /ul pThis request is for a permanent position.
/p pThe working site is Rome, but it might be required working in other locations for short mid-term periods (e.g. subcontractors technical follow-up, attendance to external test facilities or counseling / support in customer premises).
/p pShort periods of 24h shift working across the full week might be required upon specific program needs (e.g., AIT or LEOP schedule).
/p h3About You /h3 h3Education and experience /h3 pYou have a Master Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering or similar, with explicit focus on radio frequency and EMC.
/p pYou are fluent in English (C1 and above certification) both listening and reading.
/p pYou have at least 2 years of experience in similar position with at least an experience on Earth Observation, Navigation or Telecom platform / spacecraft design and test phases up to the launch / LEOP and commissioning.
/p h3Skills and knowledge /h3 pYou have a demonstrable knowledge of: /p ul liSystem requirements analysis,
flow down and verification /li liElectrical and power design and sizing /li liDefinition and management of design documentation: specifications, performance analysis, interfaces, budgets, validation.
/li liAnalysis, simulation and validation of supply systems and equipment for mission scenario fulfilment /li liSupport to satellite test campaign during AIT, launch and in-orbit phases for power sim predictions /li liAnalog electronics /li liPower conditioning systems such as Shunt (S2R, S3R, S4R) and MPPT (Buck, Boost) /li liElectromagnetics, Antennae and propagation topics /li liRadio frequency system sizing /li liRLC filters and circuit theory /li liMatlab / Simulink programming /li liAnalysis tools (CST, FEKO, ADS Keysight, ORCAD, SPIS) /li liRequirement analysis (IBM Rationale Doors) /li liEMC engineering standards ul liMIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-462, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-**** /li liECSS-E-ST-20C, ECSS-E-ST-*****C, ECSS-E-ST-*****C, ECSS-E-HB-***** /li liNASA-HDBK-****, NASA-TP**** /li /ul /li liPlasma interactions with RF is considered a plus /li liMagnetic fields interactions with Electrical Propulsion subsystem is considered a plus /li /ul h3Personal ability /h3 ul liCustomer focused, proactive attitude /li liOrganized and methodical approach to the work with strong communication skills /li liAbility to manage multiple tasks at one time, to work autonomously and in team /li liStrong attitude to achieve results within time and cost constraints /li liProblem solving attitude /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
