/ppOn behalf of our team in Italy, we are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Operations Engineer to support the infrastructure and operational activities of aerospace?related data processing systems.
The ideal candidate combines strong hands?on expertise in Linux and IT operations with the ability to leverage AI?powered tools to improve operational efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, accelerate troubleshooting and support system analysis.
While previous experience in the space sector is not required, a proactive mindset, strong problem?solving skills and familiarity with modern AI?assisted operational workflows are highly valued.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliAdminister, monitor, and maintain Linux?based production environments.
/liliBuild, deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
/liliSupport infrastructure configuration and automation using Ansible.
/liliManage, optimize and troubleshoot PostgreSQL databases (or equivalent RDBMS platforms).




/liliUse AI?assisted tools to accelerate system diagnostics, log analysis, incident investigation, root?cause analysis, and operational documentation.
/liliDevelop and maintain automation scripts and AI?supported operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
/liliTroubleshoot and resolve operational issues, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
/liliWork with ticketing systems (e.g. Jira) to track incidents, operational activities and mission support tasks.
/liliContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities where automation and AI can enhance operational processes.
/liliSupport operational readiness activities and infrastructure evolution.

/liliGood knowledge of PostgreSQL or equivalent relational database systems.
/liliExperience with configuration management tools, preferably Ansible.
/liliFamiliarity with container technologies, especially Docker.
/liliExperience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana.
/liliAbility to leverage AI?powered tools (e.g. ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, AI?based monitoring and analysis platforms) to support system administration,



troubleshooting, scripting, and documentation activities.
/liliExperience with AI?assisted operations (AIOps), log analytics platforms, or intelligent monitoring solutions.
/liliKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
/liliStrong analytical and problem?solving skills.
/liliExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
