ppSelect how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert /p pThe Maintenance EI Technician is a member of the plant maintenance team that supports factory operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
/p h3bMain Responsibilities: /b /h3 ul liPerform electrical and mechanical system preventative maintenance troubleshooting and repair in a team environment /li liFollow Food Factory Good Management Practices GMPs to guarantee food safety /li liWork safely following all required safe practices including LOTO PPE risk predictions and work permits /li liUtilize SAP Plant Maintenance CMMS system to document activities such as planned work repair and future work needed /li liProactively utilize available resources for troubleshooting and repair operators maintenance team electrical prints manuals OEM website resources /li liProperly and safely utilize tools and diagnostic equipment /li liPerform all work in a professional and workman like manner /li liIdentify parts required for repairs utilizing available resources bills of material parts lists manuals mechanical assembly drawings etc /li liPerform machine adjustments as required to support operations /li liExamples of commonly encountered electrical devices and systems include switchgear and power distribution devices MCCs safety circuits disconnects fuses PLC automation motors motor starters relays circuit breakers VFDs photo eyes prox switches relays motor starters temperature probes level sensors flow meters control valves and more /li liParticipate in and support the Ferrero Operational Excellence system /li /ul pPerform additional duties as required /p h3bAbout You:
/b /h3 ul liAssociates degree maintenance related certificate or equivalent experience in Electrical Maintenance or Industrial Automation field /li li3 years of prior experience as an Electrical Mechanical Technician OR 2year technical degree in Electrical Maintenance or Industrial Automation AND 1 year of prior experience as Electrical Mechanical Technician /li liPrior work experience must include diagnostic troubleshooting repairing and replacing defective parts adjusting machinery and modifying units to meet proper operating specifications /li liMust be able to work overtime when required /li liAble to work with computers navigating systems recording information locating information necessary to perform the job /li liAble to use basic mathematical skills in order to perform machine and mechanical systems maintenance calibrations and repairs /li liWorking knowledge in the area of pipefitting and rigging /li liBasic knowledge of steam distribution systems and principles /li liWorking knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles /li liAdvanced understanding of industrial electricity including motor basics and controls /li liAdvanced knowledge of industrial automation and PLC based controls /li liCritical thinking skills /li /ul h3bWhat We Offer: /b /h3 pCareers with caring built in - discover our benefits here .
