/ph3Job Description /h3pHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Control Center System Engineer.
The successful candidate will have solid experience in the rail industry, managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms.
This position is based in Italy.
/ph3Accountabilities /h3ulliWork Package Management /liliSupport the management of the full lifecycle of the OCC Work Package from design to commissioning /liliSupport or manage the planning, and deliverables in line with project milestones /liliMonitor progress, costs, and resource allocation /liliReport status, risks, and performance to the WPL, to the Project Engineer and to the Project Manager.
/liliContribute to the coordination of engineering activities related to OCC systems, including: System integration and external interfaces; oversee system architecture, configuration, and validation /liliSupport to ensure proper integration and standardization of all the different technologies in the Control Center like: Signalling systems, SCADA, Telecommunications (GSM-R / FRMCS, Power supply and trackside equipment /liliPartecipate to the analysis and management of system and contractual requirements /liliSupport the Requirements Management Process for the Integrated OCC (requirements identification, allocation, traceability, etc.)



making sure the requirements are development up to the final validation /liliSupport RAMS activities and safety case contributions /liliSupport to traceability between requirements, design, and validation /liliSupport on-site commissioning and entry-into-service phases /liliEnsure readiness and quality of deliverables for customer acceptance /liliSupport the WPL in the role of primary point of contact for OCC-related topics towards the customer /liliInterface with internal departments (Engineering, VV, Installation, Safety, RAMS) /li /ulh3Required Skills/ Knowledge /h3ulliKnowledge of system integration and interface management /liliOperation Control Center and Traffic Management Systems /liliTeam coordination capabilities /liliProblem-solving in complex and safety-critical environments /liliEffective communication and stakeholder management /liliResults-oriented with delivery focusbr/ /li /ulh3Education/Qualifications /h3pDegree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Computer Science, or Transport Engineering).
/ph3Languages /h3ulliFluent English /liliItalian or other languages considered a plus.
