/p /brh3bJob Purpose /b /h3 /brpThe main responsibility of this role is to define and govern how data is structured, integrated, stored, and made consumable as reusable data products across CNH on a Databricks-centric Lakehouse platform.
The role is responsible for establishing the target-state data architecture, modeling standards, and technology patterns that enable the ingestion, transformation, storage, and enrichment of data.
This ensures that CNH's data foundation is scalable, performant, trusted, and AI-ready, while remaining aligned with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and the broader Data AI strategy.
/p /brh3bKey Responsibilities /b /h3 /brul /brliDefine the target-state data architecture and roadmap (conceptual, logical and physical data models) for the enterprise data landscape, maintaining current and target state blueprints.
/li /brliSet standards, reference architectures and design guidelines for data ingestion, modeling, storage and consumption on the Databricks Lakehouse, to be adopted by delivery and engineering teams.
/li /brliArchitect scalable, reusable and automated data pipelines (batch streaming) and promote a data products operating model with strong DataOps practices.




/li /brliDesign data structures that are AI- and analytics-ready, enabling BI, advanced analytics, ML and GenAI use cases (feature engineering, vector/semantic layers, RAG-ready data) leveraging the Databricks ecosystem.
/li /brliApply data governance and data quality principles within the architecture, partnering with the dedicated Data Governance function (which owns governance strategy) to ensure compliant, well-modeled and well-cataloged data, leveraging Unity Catalog for cataloging, lineage and access management.
/li /brliEnsure security, privacy and compliance by design (GDPR, data classification, access control).
/li /brliPartner with business and IT leaders to translate business needs into architectural decisions and to maximize the value of CNH's information assets.
/li /brliProvide technical leadership and architectural assurance across programs and external delivery partners.
/li /br /ul /brh3bExperience Required /b /h3 /brh3General /h3 /brul /brliBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience.
/li /brliMinimum 7+ years in data architecture / data engineering / data modeling roles.

/li /br /ul /brh3Functional /h3 /brul /brliStrong business-domain, information and process understanding; ability to relate architectural decisions to business value.
/li /brliMastery of data modeling and data architecture patterns (dimensional, data vault, medallion/Lakehouse).

/li /brliWorking knowledge of data governance and data quality principles (the role applies them and collaborates with the Data Governance function, but does not own governance).

/li /brliData integration movement: ETL/ELT, CDC, batch streaming (e.g. Structured Streaming, Kafka/Event Hubs).
/li /brliStorage modeling: Lakehouse / medallion architecture, Data Warehouse, dimensional data-vault modeling.
