We’re redefining performance engineering with AI - join us! Akamas is a software platform that reshapes IT performance optimization through AI, automation, and the domain expertise we’ve developed by working with some of the most demanding enterprise customers across the world, achieving unprecedented levels of performance, efficiency, and cost savings About the role We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own Akamas’ positioning and messaging, shaping how our product is understood by a highly technical engineering audience. This is a strategic and hands-on role at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales, ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex technology into clear, compelling narratives that educate, persuade, and enable go-to-market teams. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and go-to-market stakeholders to translate what we build—and why it matters—into messaging and content that is technically accurate, consistent across channels, and meaningful for our users and buyers. This role comes with real ownership: you’ll define how Akamas is positioned and understood in the market. It’s a strategic, foundational role - not a generic content job, not a demand-gen or social media position, and not one where messaging is handed to you fully formed. What You’ll do Positioning & Messaging (Ownership) Own and evolve Akamas’ core positioning, value propositions, and messaging framework across ICPs and personas Clearly articulate the what, why, and for whom of our products Ensure messaging consistency across website, content, sales collateral, and partner material Continuously refine positioning based on product evolution, customer and sales feedback, and competitive landscape Editorial Strategy & Content Creation Own and lead the editorial strategy and content calendar Decide what we write, why,

and when — not just execution Balance multiple content priorities, including SEO / GEO-driven content, product launches and feature rollouts, thought leadership for engineering audiences, and sales enablement Create high-quality content, such as blog posts, solution briefs. whitepapers, case studies, and landing pages Turn customer outcomes and technical results into compelling stories Support product launches with clear messaging and launch content Website Content Ownership Own the website content end-to-end , including product pages, solution pages, and messaging updates tied to releases Ensure clarity, technical credibility, and strong narrative flow Partner with design and marketing teams to continuously improve impact and conversion Product to Marketing Translation Act as the bridge between product and marketing Absorb deep product knowledge from PMs and engineers Translate complex capabilities into content that explains what the product does, why it matters, and how it helps engineers in real scenarios Be the person who truly understands the product and can explain it clearly Sales & Partner Enablement Develop sales enablement materials (pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, FAQs) Equip Sales and SE teams with clear, consistent messaging that shortens sales cycles Collaborate with Sales on customer-facing narratives and proof points Produce high-quality collateral to empower Sales teams, Solution engineers,

and Partners and resellers Ensure sales materials are aligned with positioning and technically credible What We’re Looking For 5–8 years of experience working with technical B2B products, including at least 3 years in Product Marketing or equivalent roles Proven ability to work with technical products and engineering audiences Strong writing and editing skills in English Ability to own projects end-to-end, from strategy to execution Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and marketing Nice to have Background in DevOps, cloud, Kubernetes, performance engineering, or observability Experience owning positioning or messaging frameworks SEO/GEO awareness and editorial planning experience Experience creating sales enablement or partner materials Ability to interview engineers and turn conversations into compelling content Why Akamas? Make a real impact : Last year, we secured a $10 million investment from United Ventures, a leading venture capital firm investing in high-growth technology companies. This funding fuels our next stage of innovation and global expansion. We’re on the lookout for dynamic individuals who want to make a significant impact from day one and be part of a rapidly scaling tech company. A remote-first mindset: We work primarily remotely and focus on outcomes rather than where work happens. At the same time, we value staying connected as a team and collaborating effectively across locations. Real impact from day one: The team is small, which means your contributions are visible and your ideas get heard. There's no long chain between you and the decisions that matter. A good moment to join: We're a growing startup with enterprise customers and a team that takes its craft seriously. There's still room to shape how things are done here. Tech your way: Mac or Windows? Up to you. We’ll set you up with the tools that make you feel at home and help you do your best work.
