Overview As Industrialization Engineer you will scale maintenance, renovation, and warranty activities to secure deliverables. You will lead the industrialization of technical documentation and lay out processes, workstations, and bills of materials to support on‑time execution. You’ll implement training on industrial topics, validate deliverables with field teams, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency. This role sits at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and maintenance, contributing to Alstom’s global mobility solutions. You will shape industrial roadmaps and collaborate across functions to deliver sustainable local impact.
Responsibilities Lead the industrialization of technical documentation following Standard Manufacturing Process and Line guidelines
Create macro‑processes, work instructions, BOMs, task sequences, and layouts
Define industrial means/tools needs for project execution
Develop and implement training on industrial topics and special processes
Validate industrial deliverables on‑site with maintenance execution (FAT)
Adhere to industrial planning milestones (IMFU)
Establish asbestos abatement, stripping, parts retention,
and damage control processes
Support APSYS (Alstom Performance System) initiatives related to Industrial Roadmap
Ensure Railway Safety and EHS/AZDP standards are respected
Set up industrial process improvements for efficiency, quality, safety, ergonomics, and continuous improvement
Adapt processes to lifecycle changes (design changes, obsolescence, fleet extension)
Contribute to Change Control Board reviews to improve safety and performance
Qualifications Master’s degree in engineering
2–5 years’ experience in railway industry or international organization
Ability to read schematics/drawings
Experience in Methods Engineering and writing/improving manufacturing or maintenance work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing
Experience with ERP (e.g., SAP) for BOMs, routings, configuration follow‑up
Knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems
Proven ability to innovate and manage change
Excellent teamwork and stakeholder engagement
Strong organizational and planning skills
Fluent in English and Italian
