Experteer Overview As Production Manager at Huntsman’s Cavazzona site, you lead the Systems and Parts Production teams to secure safe, high‑quality PU production aligned with site strategy. You optimize processes, collaborate with R&D;, Quality, and Maintenance, and drive performance through KPIs and continuous improvement. You translate safety standards into daily practice while guiding investment projects and production optimizations. This role combines hands‑on leadership with cross‑functional influence to shape site performance and customer value.
Retribuzione / Benefits Ensure compliance with EHS standards and regulations with a strong emphasis on personal and process safety
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities in line with production plans and new product introductions
Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, reaction times) to guarantee consistent product quality
Collaborate with R&D;, Quality, and Maintenance to optimize formulations and production cycles
Implement and monitor production KPIs (OEE, waste, energy consumption)




Support investment projects and technological improvements in production
Manage inventories of raw materials, semi‑finished, and finished goods with Logistics and Supply Chain
Work with Site Manager on site strategy and priorities
Lead and motivate production operators and technicians, fostering safety and continuous improvement
Responsabilità Graduated in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with at least 10 years of experience in the chemical sector (PU preferred)
Strong knowledge of industrial chemical processes and production organization
Solid understanding of EHS standards, procedures and regulations in the chemical industry
Experience with Bill of Materials, KPIs, and reporting
Italian fluency and English fluency are required
Proven experience in team management and cross‑functional networking
Results‑and data‑driven mindset with understanding of KPIs and manufacturing operations
Focus on efficiency, performance, continuous improvement, and strong problem‑solving under pressure
