Job Title: DfX Project Leader
Location: IT
The impact you’ll make:
Key responsibilities
- Own DfX business impact
- Own the DfX initiative portfolio and annual savings targets.
- Deliver cost reduction and margin improvement commitments.
- Build and maintain a healthy DfX funnel through redesign, re‑specification and re‑sourcing opportunities.
- Identify risks early and implement recovery actions when targets are at risk.
Lead DfX governance
- Own and maintain the single source of truth for all DfX initiatives.
- Ensure every initiative has:
- Clear owner
- Financial impact
- Timing and critical path
- Dependencies
- Risk assessment
- Recovery plan
- Lead weekly reviews and monthly reporting.
- Ensure reporting accurately reflects actual project status.
Drive cross‑functional execution
- Lead cross‑functional teams across Product Management, R&D;, Procurement, Quality and Operations.
- Drive actions to closure and remove roadblocks.
- Challenge delays and ensure accountability for delivery.
- Escalate issues proactively before business targets are impacted.
Support category strategy
- Identify opportunities to improve competitiveness, profitability and quality.
- Ensure DfX initiatives are integrated into product roadmaps and platform plans.
- Translate strategic ambitions into executable projects with measurable outcomes.
Provide management visibility
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting on DfX performance.
- Present clear status, risks, opportunities and recovery plans.
- Act as the recognised source of truth for DfX delivery within the category.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- 7–10 years of experience in program management, product management, procurement, operations, cost engineering or DfX‑related roles.
- Proven track record delivering multi‑million Euro cost reduction, productivity or margin improvement programmes.
- Experience leading complex cross‑functional initiatives in consumer durables, electronics, appliances or related industries.
- Strong project and portfolio management skills.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of savings tracking and business cases.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to drive execution, challenge stakeholders and deliver results through others.
- Strong communication skills with a high level of ownership, accountability and execution focus.
