CSA Supervisor â Data Centre Project, Milan

Kirby Group Engineering is delivering a major data centre project in Milan, and weâre looking for a CSA Supervisor who can take ownership on site, keep things moving, and make sure standards donât slip when the pressure comes on (because it will).

The Role (What Youâll Actually Be Doing)
Youâll represent the Project Manager on site and take control of all CSAârelated activities from day one through to handover. This isnât a clipboard role. Youâll be in the detail, driving programme, coordinating trades, and making sure nothing gets missed.
Project StartâUp
- Support the PM in building the construction programme and shortâterm lookaheads.
- Set up the site properly â establishment, logistics, safety from day one.
- Review drawings, method statements, and risk assessments (and challenge them if needed).
- Get aligned on change management early (so there are no surprises later).
- Help benchmark quality standards and installation practices.
Live Project Delivery
This Is Where You Earn Your Keep
- Drive daily productivity across all CSA activities.
- Build and manage shortâterm programmes aligned with the master plan.
- Run site meetings with subcontractors and keep them accountable.
- Track variations with the PM and QS (no lost scope on your watch).
- Ensure labour is where it should beâon site, on time, working.
- Maintain a detailed site diary (if itâs not written down, it didnât happen).
Coordination & Leadership
- Work closely with M&E; teams to keep everything aligned (no silo working).
- Coordinate across trades and supervisors to avoid clashes and delays.
- Act as the point of escalationâown problems and drive solutions.
- Liaise with the client and subcontractors to keep work fronts open and progressing.
Safety (Nonânegotiable)
- Lead from the front on HSEQâtoolbox talks, inductions, daily presence.
- Enforce safe systems of work, permits, and method statements.
- Carry out daily walkdowns with a âdonât walk byâ mindset.
- Maintain logs, checks, and inspections to the highest standard.
Quality (Where projects are won or lost)
- Coordinate materials and plant deliveries properly.
- Manage inspections, snagging, and testing in line with ITPs.
- Drive a zeroâsnag mentality (not just a nice idea).
- Ensure all freeâissue equipment is checked, recorded, and signed off.
CloseâOut (because finishing well matters)
- Ensure all systems are complete, tested, and certified.
- Deliver accurate asâbuilt drawings.
- Support structured demobilisation of site resources.
- Make sure all compliance documentation and signage is in place.
What Youâll Bring
- Proven experience as a CSA Supervisor on largeâscale construction or data centre projects.
- Strong understanding of site operations, sequencing, and coordination.
- Ability to manage subcontractors without handâholding.
- Solid grasp of HSEQ and quality processes.
- A mindset that focuses on solutions, not problems.
