Experteer Overview

As Product Manager ECR, you drive the evolution of POS and retail software/hardware portfolios for the Italian market. You own the roadmap from concept to launch, coordinating with software, hardware, compliance, and marketing teams to deliver compliant, user-friendly solutions. You’ll lead cross-functional efforts to evolve fiscal-compliant checkout and omnichannel experiences. This is a chance to shape digital payment solutions at a European leader and contribute to scalable, innovative retail tech.

Responsibilities

- Define and manage the product roadmap for POS systems and related retail software, translating requirements into detailed specs and user stories
- Monitor product lifecycle and track success metrics, ensuring timely releases with cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with Italian fiscal regulations and collaborate with tax authorities and certification bodies
- Oversee integration of POS software with payment systems, ERPs, and e-commerce platforms for omnichannel experiences
- Partner with engineering (Agile/Scrum) and UX/UI teams to optimize checkout flows and training materials for internal teams
- Support Sales, Support,



and Customer Success with documentation and demonstrations
- Conduct market research and competitive analyses to identify trends in POS, checkout tech, and digital payments

Qualifications

- +7 years as Product Manager/Owner in POS, retail/hospitality software, or ERP
- Deep understanding of Italian fiscal compliance workflows (Telematic Recorders, XML files, electronic invoicing SDI)
- Hardware & IoT lifecycle experience with checkout devices and communication protocols
- Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and PM tools (Jira, Confluence, Productboard)
- Data-driven decision making with quantitative and qualitative insights
- Excellent communication and leadership to influence across teams
- Native or fluent Italian; professional English
