Overview

In this role you will support the ENCAR Business Line to drive pre‑commissioning, commissioning and startup activities on complex onshore/offshore projects. You collaborate with engineering, licensors, vendors and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant execution and timely reporting. You’ll contribute to QA/QC, HSE controls and system commissioning in a global, safety‑driven environment. This position offers international exposure, travel opportunities, and a hybrid work model. You will help shape safe, reliable operations that underpin the energy transition at Saipem.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and execute pre‑commissioning, commissioning and startup activities
- Interface with engineering disciplines, licensors, vendors and subcontractors
- Contribute to QA/QC certification and HSE system control tasks




- Support progress reporting during projects
- Provide field safety and quality observations and report findings
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements across activities
- Support documentation for Fire Fighting System response and related controls
- Assist in documentation and reporting for project milestones

Qualifications

- Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 years of experience as a Commissioning engineer in Oil & Gas
- Fluent English
- Proficiency with Office package; knowledge of SmartPlant P&IDs; and Primavera P6 preferred
