Overview

Experteer Overview: As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer at Salesforce, you own end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions for strategic customers. You lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and set standards for scalable deployments inside enterprise environments. You work closely with Deployment Strategists to translate customer challenges into deployed AI-enabled outcomes. You stay at the frontier of AI tooling, shaping product evolution and driving customer success at scale.

- Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions from architecture decisions to production handoff
- Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform (agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails)
- Manage data lifecycle (model design, data pipelines, data readiness) across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks
- Resolve technical blockers (data integration, deployment, orchestration, performance)
- Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting
- Create PoCs and MVPs with balanced risk and speed
- Codify learnings into reusable patterns and playbooks for the org
- Mentor engineers via code reviews and pairing sessions
- Provide depth on critical deployments and surface insights to Product/Engineering
- Partner with Deployment Strategist to translate business challenges into deployable agentic solutions
- Surface field insights to influence Agentforce roadmap

Responsibilities

- 6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS
- CS degree or related field
- Expert in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex; conversant in others




- Experience integrating LLMs into production with LangChain or LlamaIndex; strong prompt engineering and responsible AI practices
- Deep experience in data modeling, processing, analytics; proficient with Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks
- Strong Salesforce platform expertise: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, Salesforce APIs
- Entrepreneurial, fast-delivery mindset with sound judgment on timing
- Mentored engineers and created reusable assets and tooling
- Clear, credible communication with peers, customer architects, and execs
- Willingness to travel to customer sites; fluent in Italian and English
- CS degree or equivalent
- Nice-to-haves: Salesforce certifications, DevOps/CI-CD, multi-cloud enterprise AI experience

Compensation

- Base salary EUR 70,425–94,200
- Incentive component
