The Senior Site Manager is responsible for the successful execution of all activities on the assigned construction site, delivering the project on time and within budget, in line with contractual scope and requirements. The role ensures the highest standards of quality, maintains an incident‑free site, and guarantees full adherence to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) plans and regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the main interface with the customer on all contractual matters, maintaining strong working relationships with local authorities and relevant organisations.
Act as the primary interface with project partners on contractual and operational matters.
Manage workforce requirements on site and drive construction activities to achieve contractual milestones and targets.
Ensure all site personnel are fully informed of the Scope of Work (SoW) and Division of Work (DoW).
Manage change control on site, including variation orders to subcontractors.
Ensure all testing activities are completed and accepted by the customer in accordance with contractual requirements.
Promote a strong culture of Health, Safety and Environment compliance across all site activities, aligned with company, customer, and local authority requirements.
Ensure all works meet required quality standards and that quality records are accurately completed and properly archived.




Ensure all permits, licences, and regulatory requirements are in place for compliant site execution.
Maintain structured, up-to-date, and reliable site documentation and reporting to head office.
Ensure all site activities are delivered in line with contractual schedules and milestones, with a clear understanding of project budgets and cost control.
Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled to the satisfaction of the customer.
Take responsibility as Senior Site Manager on large EPC projects and complex consortium-based projects.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager on construction projects within the energy sector or similar large-scale industrial environments.
Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Strong commercial awareness with proven experience in contracts management.
Experience across civil works, installation, and/or commissioning activities.
Relevant, certified knowledge and practical experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
Highly organised and structured, with strong leadership, people management, and communication skills. xysqume
