Our mission is to transform bold scientific ideas into advances that improve human health.About the RoleThe successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team that will investigate the host‑virus interplay in the human nervous system. The Research Assistant will report directly to Oliver Harschnitz, Research Group Leader of the Harschnitz Group while working in close collaboration with members of the Vannini Group and the broader NPDs Flagship Research Programme. We are looking for highly motivated and creative stem cell biologists and virologists who have solid experience in human stem cell culture, CRISPR/Cas9 gene‑editing, virology, and molecular biology.Your MissionPerform experiments in the fields of stem cell biology and virologySupport in maintaining hPSC lines and hPSC‑derived cell culturesSupport in generating reliable data for publication in the projects to which they are assigned and record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic)Support other laboratory members’ activitiesParticipate in key aspects of general lab management and organization (e.G., ordering/purchasing, managing inventories and stocks of samples, reagents, equipment, and materials)What You’ll BringEssentialsMaster’s degree in a relevant subject area (stem cell biology, virology, neuroscience,
