Process Launch Management Engineer – Electronics team, based at our office in Corbetta (Milano, IT). Reports directly to the Electronics Process Launch Management Manager.

As the Process Launch Management Engineer at Marelli, you will coordinate and validate offers and new product launch activities, securing simultaneous engineering and manufacturing standards application, capex optimization and re-use, removing roadblocks, and assuring a silent launch through continuous monitoring of the project status to achieve target cost, quality and time to market.

Responsibilities:

-

- Serve as the first reference of the Division in Process Launch Management for any manufacturing-related task activation.

- Act as the reference between Plant Process Launch Management and Product Development teams, securing offer activation and delivery with simultaneous engineering and standards application.

- Be the manufacturing reference for RFI/RFQ kick‑offs, confirming production sites, local plant PLM nomination, and coordinating multi‑plant offers and industrialization.

- Validate final plant industrial offers against RFI/RFQ, securing new capex avoidance, equipment re‑use, and best manufacturing standard solutions.

- Monitor and report manufacturing needs/risks (capex, areas, saturations, etc.), deploy further study onsite and with central ELS AME.

- Track and report process milestones, readiness, and baseline process KPI progress.

- Report critical upcoming situations to avoid product and process development roadblocks.

- Escalate blocking points for resolution support.

- Report plant PLM training gaps, resource needs, and structural gaps relative to the current manufacturing organization.

- Provide online and/or onsite support for blocking points or event at risk, ensuring appropriate escalation for a silent launch.





- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, specifications, internal norms, procedures and function guidelines.

- Support manufacturing KDs (Key Deliverables) implementation to ensure gate approvals.

- Assist project management tasks and plant for product change requests, mitigating quality, cost and timing impacts, continuous improvement, and VAVE activities.

Qualifications:

-

- Engineering degree.

- 5+ years of relevant experience.

- Strong understanding of production processes.

- Project management and project governance tool knowledge.

- Problem‑solving approach and analytic tools (e.g. FMEA, FTA).

- Industrial KPI knowledge (OEE, CT, FTQ).

- Deep knowledge of IATF16949 requirements and related tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP).

- Good planning and analytical skills.

- Fluent written and spoken English.

Annual salary: €50,000 – 55,000 gross, based on experience.
