About the Role: We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer with a solid understanding of industrial, power or chemical plant quality control principles, and a deep desire to be an active contributor in the energy transition industry. Reports to the Quality Control Manager. Role location: Milans office, on site.

Responsibilities

- Create, review and approve Project ITPs
- Review and approve vendors’ preliminary procedures (welding book, NDE, PWHT, Hardness Test, etc.)
- Review and approve Inspection & Test Records including MRB; issue IRN
- Coordinate external inspectors
- Manage NCRs
- Perform inspections (VDI/NDE/hydrostatic test) when needed




- Provide QC support
- Ensure QC targets
- Act proactively to align with delivery dates
- Promote QHSE

Qualifications
- Experience in welding/fabrication/NDE techniques
- Knowledge of major codes for pressure vessels/piping/structural (ASME/EN/ASCI), Directives/Norms xysqume (PED, Machinery Directive, EN1090+ISO3834, AWS D1.1, etc.)
- CSWIP 3.1 and NDE LII (desirable)
- Painting certificate (NACE/FROSIO desirable)
- Italian language and professional English
- Willingness to travel

Remuneration

45,000-50,000 gross annual salary + benefits.
